Congratulations to Nominees for Time’s “Dealer of the Year”
GSFSGroup congratulates Steven Cavender and Carlos Liriano for their nominations for Time’s “Dealer of the Year” award. Cavender and Liriano are 2 of the 51 dealers nominated from more than 16,000 dealerships across the country. Both will be honored at the annual National Automobile Dealers Association convention taking place this year in San Francisco, California on January 25, 2019.
Steven Cavender is the Dealer Principal at Cavender Toyota in San Antonio, Texas. He was nominated by Bill Wolters, President of the Texas Automobile Dealers Association (TADA). As a 3rd generation auto dealer, Cavender is active in a number of community organizations including local children’s charities and was a lead sponsor of the 2017 Hand In Hand benefit to assist those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Carlos Liriano is Dealer Principal at Lost Pines Toyota in Bastrop, Texas. He was nominated by Damon Lester, President of the National Association for Minority Automobile Dealers (NAMAD) for his deep-rooted ties and dedication to the Bastrop community serving as leader for several Bastrop organizations. He is the recipient of the 2017 Diversity Advocacy Award from NAMAD.
